Written on 22/05/19.All thoughts are of my own :)

I watched the movie at Vue Bromley which I highly recommend besides the cinemas at Leicester Square. The place is clean and not crowded plus the price is more affordable with recliner seats.👍🏻

Me lately.

Sunday, February 11, 2018

My first post for 2018---and so far, life has been busier than ever!

To be honest, I really found it difficult to write after feeling very disappointed over the last few days of 2017. I wasn't heartbroken or anything but it was related to my career and I felt so disheartened that I even want to give up already. In fact, I almost did as I shove all my review materials away for about 2 weeks and went on a staycation at Subic. Hence, I started this year with quite a clean slate. I have set-up my annual goals and one of which would be for me to stay FIT.

So I joined a fitness club recently and it has made me become a health freak. LOL. Actually, I did turned conscious with my weight since stress-eating has made me friggin' gain a lot! Likewise, I hate to be called 'chubby' 🙄 that is why I decided to go on a work-out. Though it wasn't just about the way I look but going to the gym lately gave me positive vibes inspite of an exhausting workout program . Plus, I had the chance to finally dance again as there are dancing programs which is really fun. This preoccupied my mind from the negativity and I'm very happy about it; It made me decide to give that failure I had to give it another go.But this time?I have to do it with NO PRESSURE!

A lot would be asking then about what the failure was or the workout routine I have. Well 1) it's NOT a board exam and 2) I'll discuss further about this fitness stuff soon but currently, I am still adapting to it ;) But for now,let me just share the newest addition to my favs (as mentioned on my previous post): Maria Poonlertlarp aka Miss Universe Thailand 2017!! I have been following her updates even if most of her events are in Thai but her captions are in English anyway.Haha! Nevertheless, she's so pretty that it'll be a big challenge to look for her next successor on this year's pageant. ;)

'til then!

Japan Tales: The other side of Kansai

Saturday, December 9, 2017

Part of my sidetrip on my vacay to the Kansai region was to visit 3 other towns aside from Osaka namely, Kyoto, Nara and Kobe. Last Oct.17th, I joined a 12-hr sightseeing tour by Limon Shinki Bus Tour. The whole trip was literally just sightseeing and picture-taking as you only get to spend for around 90 minutes per town so therefore, there's little time to shop for that matter.Haha
Anyway, we started at 8am from bus pick-ups at Umeda and Namba-OCAT. We were quite a mix of foreigners who joined the trip so they provided English and Chinese tour guides. Besides that,we were given our itineraries as the tour offers different packages like some do not include meals or others end their trip in Nara only. Mine consisted of having a set lunch instead of a buffet and journey to 3 towns. :)

Petite Trends: Mumuso

Wednesday, September 6, 2017

So I managed to find time over shopping lately inspite of reviewing and working (as usual) and Mumuso has been part of the stores that I often visit to. As most people know, it is a Korean shop that sells products at a very affordable price from cosmetics, electronic accessories and lifestyle items. Hence, here are some of the things that I bought.

After 342463 years, our department in the hospital finally pushed through on our team building (even for just a day!) We were divided into 2 since the ER cannot be covered by other special areas; I was part of the 2nd batch and our mini outing was held at Bakasyunan, Tanay. It was a 2hr-bus ride from TMC and unfortunately, there was a heavy downpour that time---but that didn't stop the fun spirit ;) The rain ceased a little when we got there due to the highest peak of the place. Pretty much, the venue offers a variety of recreational activities suitable for company outings whether it is for a day tour or an overnight stay.

Macau for a Day,Takes the Money Away!

Monday, May 8, 2017

The second day of our trip covers a day tour in the 'Casino Capital of China',Macau! Well, I have been to Las Vegas last year and I surely believe my views would take a few comparisons. Though inspite of what is expected such as the casinos and each hotels' connecting malls, it is a must to explore the main square of this Portuguese-colonized country.

Random Musings

Friday, February 17, 2017

I wasn't telling about my activities lately apart from catching up on my travel posts.Generally I have been juggling over work and review all along. It was very difficult dealing with shifting schedules and going to review classes on most of my days off.I even have to cancel (again) my itenerary to the US this month! ;( So yeah, I'm bundled with my career priorities and hopefully ,it all ends soon! Anyhow I'm not really that workaholic since I still get to find time for leisure from online-shopping to movie marathons.I'm currently stoked on Lala Land and Fifty Shades Darker! And yeahp,I'll discuss that further later :)
A few weeks ago, I ordered a leather brown case for my Instax camera from @dealsonline.I bought it for P740 and it comes with a bunch of film stickers and a mini album.I was supposed to buy a film to them also but it was kinda expensive..though the films are very rare. You guys may want to check their online store for your Instax essentials. :) They also have their own app on Google Play for an easy-access to the store.

Here's a haul of my polaroid shots :)
Moving on with the movies, I have watched 2 big movies consecutively and the fangirl in me has risen again.Haha!Call me a bandwagon for watching "La la Land " 'cause it's a Golden Globe win.I became a fan of Emma Stone since then. She's so gorgeous that she and Ryan Gosling made a great pair on the film. I actually adore musical films like this that's why I really don't mind about the load of sing-and-dance scenes. My fav part was the moment when they were dancing on the mountain. The whole film's almost a 10/10 for me but the ending disappointed me (so I gave it an 8 instead). Yes, they didn't go on a happily ever after but the views can be split into 2 which can either be bittersweet or upsetting. It may be sad for Ryan to see her with another man after 5yrs of separation but on the other hand, it may be good seeing both of them successful to reach their dreams. Though in my opinion, it could've gone better if they were together. ;| As for FSD, I believe that my expectations were partially met! Well, it's good to see my Ana & Christian on the big screen again--and to see my favorite part of the series came in action was awesome. It's much better than the first since this was more captured from the book even most of the lines are taken there.Say,"I'm gonna be the boss' boss' boss?" But there are several twists from the movie which gives way to the final book,FSF.Hence,I can't wait for the final sequel next year! ❤️
These are just some of the activities that I've been going up for the past weeks. Sometimes I do take these as a way of distracting myself to move on from a past.'Cause yeah, even when that guy is a thousand miles away,my heart is still shattered from what he had done. But anyway, chickens will come to roost!
'til then!

ER and I.

Wednesday, August 3, 2016

Okay, let me talk about work this time. Eversince I came back from London last Feb., I got transferred to the Emergency Department and had training there for a month. At first, I really felt so disappointed that I got transferred---I will miss 5A-OBGYNE so much!! I got to admit that I despise to be transferred there based on the comments of incident-prone and chaos. Even if most people told me to take it as a career step.. it might be a step to hell. >;l

Jan.13,2016:my visa to London got APPROVED!!! :D

Feb.02: The journey to London begins!

first stop:Abu Dhabi,UAE
This is by far, the longest plane trip I've ever had---18hrs!And I never thought that being inside in a plane for that long was quite boring.Eat-sleep-watch-repeat.We rode through Etihad Airways which was really good but then I got tired eating their food as they serve halal diet (no pork but chicken and vegetables only).I can still remember what they served before---chicken curry bread, herb penne pasta, chicken biryani..well what a taste of the middle east!Being in Abu Dhabi for an hour and a half was interesting.Their souvenir shops sell stuffed camels, hookah, and golden lamps which are really cool!Too bad I didn't get to see the actual desert.Yet,I get to buy an exclusive Pandora charm there which only costs P700 if converted to Philippine peso. Now that's golden! :D So after 8hrs from UAE,we've finally reached the United Kingdom!!❤️

(#3) The Petite Trends: During the Holidays..

Monday, January 19, 2015

Finally,a first entry for the year!Sorry it took long, my pc got malfunctioned last time so I wasn't able to blog then. But I'll make it up for this!I've been to a lot during the holiday season and these past few days of January.I spent the Christmas day in a private resort at Laguna while on New year's day,we went ramenized on Ramen Nagi at SM Aura Premier. I really like that ramen place so much; I customize my butao king with a spicy grade of 1. You guys should try it! It's perfect for the cold weather lately :)

Here was the outfit that I wore during the festive season.Paring a blazer with shorts has become a casual trend--like yes,it isn't just for a corporate outfit anymore! Some people also wear it during club parties already. But of course you need to choose the style that doesn't look very business-like if you're gonna use it in a club. I bought mine at Forever21 and indeed, they have several designs of blazers there. I'll post another style of it on instagram :D

Here's another occasion that I wore it which was during my friend's party.

#2014 Memories

Last Dec 13 (Saturday), me and my crazy crew went to Kpub BBQ at Trinoma for Sophie's pre-birthday celebration. It's been awesome that we've seen each other again after a month of RN duties. And not only that, it was also our 3rd year of becoming the CREW barkada ;D

the traditional WISHLIST.

Tuesday, November 11, 2014

This entry is specifically for my relatives and friends---and for those who'd like to give me a gift this christmas ;p Though as much as possible,please...NO STUFFED TOYS. I have too much of it in my room already.Hence, here's a list of some gift choices for yours truly.Mind you, these items exceed from P1K-1.5K below. And these items excludes clothes and gadgets because they are very pricey and hard to choose when it comes to the clothes.

Any Rillakuma item from HAPPYLAND.From pouches, bags, notebooks but NOT the stuffed toy.The store is located at SM North EDSA,2nd floor beside Book Sale.
instax mini 25 polaroid film. Here's a sample from the fujifilm site: film samples. Either the comic, shiny star or pink dot design is much preferred. But if there are other choices,I'd like a Rilakkuma,Little Twin Star or a Hello Kitty film set instead.Haha :DDD
make-up bags from FOREVER 21.Check out the designs HERE.Any of the designs would do and I assure most of them are available in all branches here in Manila.
"HELLLP Ayoko na Sa Syota Ko" by Ramon Bautista
The Hunger Games trilogy set by Suzanne Collins.
a good JAPANESE language book.Yes,I'd like to learn how to speak in Japanese seriously now. :))
I hope it will be followed just like last years' (which i posted 3 days before Christmas.HAHA!) :))

Friday, September 26, 2014

Every blogger seems to have this particular entry about their latest style so I would like to create my own and call it as "The Petite's Trend".This is gonna be all about 'anything-goes-random' from the things I bought, my pastimes, and what I have been up to all throughout the month. So,here it goes!

(072614) Vios Cup Race 2!

Tuesday, August 5, 2014

Me and my family spent the weekend at Clark, Pampanga where we watched the Vios Cup Race 2 at Clark Speedway. It was my first time to watch a race car competition and I never thought this would be fun! Although what makes it more fun was that my favorite is part of the race!Haha :) But I really do enjoyed the event even if I'm not a fan of cars.Yet I'm quite familiar with the Vios as I've been attending several Toyota events since last year.

my temporary laid-back situation

Wednesday, June 25, 2014

It's been 3 weeks of laid back lifestyle and so far, I'm enjoying it. :) The first few days of it was kind of surreal adjusting thyself from being a busy person. To me,it wasn't boring after all; I often go out with my family and friends and even if I stay home at most times,I fill myself in with activities that can divert from boredom.Namely, these are actually things that I did not have the time for when I was busy in the academics.lol.Here's a few to share:

(081813) World of Toyota

Monday, August 19, 2013

Toyota had it's event entitled, "World of Toyota" at the World Trade Center from Aug.10-18,2013.I had myself tagging along with my mom (since she's working in Toyota as a sales manager) on the last day of it which was yesterday!Though I should have gone there earlier because they have different perks everyday and I adore their host so much which was Carla Dunareanu.heehee! :D Since it was the last day yesterday, it was all crowded then so I wasn't able to play the videogame there (in which I thought that could help me learn how to drive!lol). However, it was all fun! I took a tour around the different Toyota vehicles and collectibles and at some points, I just gotten a little bit interested on those now.haha!Take note: just a little bit. ;))
Here's my pics at the event:

Yep,it's that time of the season again for cosplays, accessories and most of all,TOYS!!I went with my cousins over for this event and I never thought it'll be that crowded this year!

This is the line from the 2nd floor until 4th floor! We waited for about 2 hours to buy a ticket(P120) but anyway,it was worth it---and good thing it was.Haha :)

There were tons of good stuff at the con this year.Let alone, the three Megatrade Halls at SM Mega is filled with toys...

toys...

and toys(sss)!!!

And this is my most favorite collectible toy that I've seen there...Yotsuba&❤ I grew up reading the manga of this clover-haired girl together with the adorable Danboard.Haha! The figures cost at around P350-P1000.

Other than the random collectible toys, there are superhero stuff at the con!

And the one that i adored here the most is the Iron Man collection.See how Tony Stark looks so hot even as an action figure.hehe!
