Happy BinJin Year

Friday, February 5, 2021

I know this has been long and overdued because of how busy I really became during my vacation. So, my apologies! This post turned from a part 2 up to a throwback New Year's Day post! Nevertheless, it's a great feeling to reminisce that moment in which I would loved to live it all over again. Anyhow, here it goes...
Indeed, it was a happy new year to my personal but most especially, to my fan girl life. 🖤 Who would have thought that my favorite loveteam will give out their much-awaited confirmation on the first day of the year?! And it was even Son Yejin's birthmonth so, wow. Just WOW. 😍 Hence, let me write my full thoughts of it since I believe a tweet won't be enough to celebrate this BinJin milestone. And as I drabble up, be informed that my mind's on BinJin high yet these are not delusional anymore but my pure 2 cents! ;)

Hyun Bin Filmography

Friday, September 25, 2020

I won't definitely let Son Yejin's other half left behind!---and yes, 'her other half'. 😜 Whether you're a BinJin stan or not, I would claim them either way because they are a showbiz couple--is the confirmation coming anytime soon? ;) Anyhow! Here's my 2 cents of all Hyun Bin's films over his past 17 years in the entertainment industry. I didn't expect that he only got a few movies back then as I think that he might've invested more on drama series. Nonetheless, I got to say that his works are merely on the action/drama genre and SYJ was on point in commending this handsome oppa that he always has a sweet, calming tone on his action film roles.😆

Here are his lead act projects (in chronological order as usual to prevent from being biased!). Expect some CLOY and Yejin-related bits as you read along--my BinJin fan heart couldn't help it while I was working on this ;p
DISCLAIMER: all thoughts are of my own.

SMART x BinJin

Saturday, August 8, 2020

Despite reliving old updates, re-watching BinJin projects and having a merchandise spree(which I'll be posting soon!), BinJin nation has been experiencing drought for the past few weeks. Yet recently, almost the entire world got whipped as SMART telecom dropped the bomb of having Son Yejin as its newest endorser 🖤 Well, I know it's just a commercial film (CF) but the mere fact that she and Hyun Bin are on the same page once more is definitely brewing something!

This is my appreciation post to SMART for choosing BinJin as their product models that somehow became a bridge to make them work together for another time.🥰 And of course, this entry will include a continuation of my own BinJin speculations from ze previous post (by demand! Many thanks again to everyone who have read it 🖤). So, are we getting close to hear the real deal? ;)

9/10: Something In The Rain

Saturday, July 18, 2020

Annyeong! Here's another Kdrama series that I've watched during my quarantine period last April entitled, "Something In The Rain" (Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food). It's a 2018 drama starred by Son Ye jin and Jung Hae-In.

Truth be told, I had moments of having second emotions for this especially after seeing the trailer. In fact, I wouldn't bother to watch this if it really wasn't for SYJ! 😅 Though as usual, some of my friends from the fandom urged me to watch and finish it ('cause I almost gave up after 2 episodes, I'm sorry 🙃) so I did. In conclusion, I find the story beautiful with its real-life events and it will really make you fall in love just like what they said on their promotional events 🖤 Intricate as it seems but there's a subtle reason why they put on an old girl-young guy relationship ;)

There might be negativity as you read along but keep in mind that these are purely my own thoughts (from a solid BinJin fan).

the COVID19 Lockdown Itinerary

Wednesday, May 6, 2020

Tell me, is this gonna be, "wake me up when COVID19 ends"?!

2020 has been very peculiar that taught us new vocabularies such as enhanced quarantine, lockdown, frontliner, social distancing and the massive use of PPE (personal protective equipment). It felt like we are all living in a Big Brother house as we have to stay indoors in a certain point of time. As a healthcare professional, I got to say this virus is really contagious which keeps our work nerve-wrecking in the hospital lately. Aside from the lack of PPE, there's understaffing that leads to burnout so the probability of being infected is high. So lets cooperate with our national policies to #STAYATHOME. Personally, I still feel a pang of disappointment with my cancelled travel plans due to this outbreak. It made me stay here in London for the longest period already which lingers my homesickness ;( Hence, I figured to create a lockdown itinerary instead! Truly, there's more than just an "eat-sleep-repeat" routine at home 😜

10/10: Crash Landing On You

Sunday, April 5, 2020

Disclaimer: All thoughts are of my own.

I hope everyone’s safe in this time of a pandemic! Let us follow the quarantine policies of our country to end the spread of COVID19. It does get boring to be on house arrest for quite a while whereas for me, working in the hospital has been very stressful with a 50:50 chance of getting the strain ;( Understaffed, lack of supplies and the increasing number of affected patients---so please STAY AT HOME.Take the opportunity to rest and may we all pray for better days ✨

Honestly, my whole March hasn't really been good having some travel plans cancelled and other personal issues.Hence, in order to divert myself from such misery, I went 'Netflix and chill' on my break and one of the shows that I end up watching is "Crash Landing On You".

NB:I rarely watch K-dramas as I find it cheesy/'pabebe';
Majority of my friends and family strongly urged me to see this show and at first, I was disgusted that I vowed not to watch it as it was very mainstream. I just even asked for the full plot-all spoilers which I found interesting. So once upon a miserable day, I gave in to watch the series---and they have captured my heart. ;p

#2019Recap

Tuesday, December 31, 2019

Another year has passed and it turned out to be an emotional trainwreck despite my travelventures. From the loss of a family member to bidding farewells to loved ones, it’s been heavy yet I happily survived. ;”) Everything seemed like blessings in disguise with these whir of events.Hence, lets cheers to the ones that I got!

Random Musings

Friday, February 17, 2017

I wasn't telling about my activities lately apart from catching up on my travel posts.Generally I have been juggling over work and review all along. It was very difficult dealing with shifting schedules and going to review classes on most of my days off.I even have to cancel (again) my itenerary to the US this month! ;( So yeah, I'm bundled with my career priorities and hopefully ,it all ends soon! Anyhow I'm not really that workaholic since I still get to find time for leisure from online-shopping to movie marathons.I'm currently stoked on Lala Land and Fifty Shades Darker! And yeahp,I'll discuss that further later :)
A few weeks ago, I ordered a leather brown case for my Instax camera from @dealsonline.I bought it for P740 and it comes with a bunch of film stickers and a mini album.I was supposed to buy a film to them also but it was kinda expensive..though the films are very rare. You guys may want to check their online store for your Instax essentials. :) They also have their own app on Google Play for an easy-access to the store.

Here's a haul of my polaroid shots :)
Moving on with the movies, I have watched 2 big movies consecutively and the fangirl in me has risen again.Haha!Call me a bandwagon for watching "La la Land " 'cause it's a Golden Globe win.I became a fan of Emma Stone since then. She's so gorgeous that she and Ryan Gosling made a great pair on the film. I actually adore musical films like this that's why I really don't mind about the load of sing-and-dance scenes. My fav part was the moment when they were dancing on the mountain. The whole film's almost a 10/10 for me but the ending disappointed me (so I gave it an 8 instead). Yes, they didn't go on a happily ever after but the views can be split into 2 which can either be bittersweet or upsetting. It may be sad for Ryan to see her with another man after 5yrs of separation but on the other hand, it may be good seeing both of them successful to reach their dreams. Though in my opinion, it could've gone better if they were together. ;| As for FSD, I believe that my expectations were partially met! Well, it's good to see my Ana & Christian on the big screen again--and to see my favorite part of the series came in action was awesome. It's much better than the first since this was more captured from the book even most of the lines are taken there.Say,"I'm gonna be the boss' boss' boss?" But there are several twists from the movie which gives way to the final book,FSF.Hence,I can't wait for the final sequel next year! ❤️
These are just some of the activities that I've been going up for the past weeks. Sometimes I do take these as a way of distracting myself to move on from a past.'Cause yeah, even when that guy is a thousand miles away,my heart is still shattered from what he had done. But anyway, chickens will come to roost!
'til then!

a total whirlwind

Tuesday, August 18, 2009

helloooooo! :DDD
the past 2 weeks have been such a whirlwind to meeeeeeee!!
anyway,lets start..
We went to a comic-con last Aug 8-9,'09 at SM Megamall.Sadly,i wasnt able to take alot of pics coz on the first day[saturday],we came in late like there's no cosplayers there anymore and just a few stalls were only there[and darrrrrn,i miss seeing the Ai Saka Taiga cosplayer!! :(( ].On the contrary i bought myself a Rozen Maiden keychain(shinku!! :DD) and a toy figure.. Lucky Star's Konata *screaaaams* :)) She's been so adorable lately---if you could just take a look at her snapshots..with my breadou.lol

see?!xD bhahahaha. Then on the second day[Sunday] we just took a stroll there...and it's still the same.Unfortunately, there are really a few stalls compared to the recent toy-con.Although this one is more on comics rather than the usual anime[yeah, there are anime stuffs---customized pins and shirts].well i cant wait for the next con next month! x]
.....as for school.,last week,we had our BKK[Buwan ng Kasaysayan at Kultura] celebration. yup,no lessons;just practice for several presentations.we had a play[Dulasayan] and i'm one of the main characters in it.haha! It's about a DVD seller in Divisoria who stole a bag from a rich girl[me!lol] for the sake of his family. There's alot of 'unforgettable' scenes in it.hahaha...if y'all wanna see the rest of the pics,go to our friendster site->http://www.friendster.com/shsbatch2010 After that we had our Sabayang Bigkas[Choral Recitation] and sadly,we lost :( shucks...seniors lost from the sophomores and the juniors..whoah.xD and on the last day,we had our Filipino sportsfest.haha..limbo racks and pabitins for highschool? :)) yupyup, best part of the celebration as we had our feast and it's just fun fun fun!haha..did we just took the best pictures?!ha!y'all may not have seen the rest yet<3
So that sums up my wondrous week. Now i'm currently back to the usual studying and it's all hectic agaiiiin!!
hahaha..
that's all.

'til then. :D

how june rolls..

Tuesday, June 30, 2009

i'm already a senior.yay? :))
our class just started last last Tuesday(6.16) and whoah, first day of school and we have a homework for the next day.WHAT!its..its..it's a torture!hmph >:O
Over the past few days i didnt feel that i had a summer vacation at all.instead,i'm set into 'school mode' now. It's been hectic though;on our 4th day of school,we had our first quiz in English.then last week, are report days, quiz days, discussion days....NORMAL SCHOOL DAYS.not to mention, they've been giving us alot of assignments everyday.waaaahh =__= that's why i carry 4 books a day...ohh bummer.
well anyway,we are quarantined this week...=_= and lets not talk about that shall we?!

moving on....two weeks ago,i went to the toy-con at SM Megamall and it was fun. There are people in cosplays and i took a pic with them[aaaahhh,so glad to meet Chii(Chobits)!!xD]. My auntie's one of them and she dressed as Raeri from Black Lagoon. well of course, there is Naruto and Rurouni Kenshin and InuYasha...most of the well-known animes were there.Sadly, nobody cosplayed Shinku from Rozen Maiden this time..aww :((.there are alot of collectibles inside the convention aside from anime stuffs like superheroes and cars.there's also a museum of toy collections there.Although most were boy's stuffs(warcrafts and Transformers?!),there is one collection for the girls--->

BARBIE DOLLS. take a look at it: haha,i'd stole 'em if i can.lol, kidding!haha ;) and there's this one interesting stuff that we bought-->

it's not just an ordinary pastry btw.actually,it's not even edible..it's a stressball,no wonder it smells like real pastry which is great.haha,so cute! my friend gave me once from Hongkong and it's on my bag now :D
hmm,so i guess that's all

Gee//update?!

Thursday, September 4, 2008

i just saw this vid on Channel [V] yesterday and i cant stop thinking about their dance moves!lol, how adorable :)) it's a girl group in Korea called Girl's Generation.haha,i remember my Korean schoolmates performed that song in school last March with the same dance moves.well they are really fond of doing those in school especially when there's an occassion coming up.haha,i'm actually fascinated on how they dance though they are very synchronized.and i gotta say.. they are somewhat much better than our school's dance club members[and that includes me].lol,idc. :))

anyway,i havent updated much here coz i was busy doing alot of stuffs in the 'net i didnt even managed to visit here.haha i'm pretty much been paying attention to photoshopp-ing most plus going to forums and others.oh btw,i'm getting the hang of watching 90210 :D Also,i've read like 9 books during the whole summer.wahahaha, cooool!!what a bookworm.x]
so excited to watch Angels&Demons in theatres next week!
i guess that's all...
