2021 MEMORIES

Twenty-twenty ONE thing’s for sure: that this year has been a lot better than the previous despite how COVID continues to evolve its variants. But as least now we are on the verge of getting fully-vaxxed and boosted on the way to normalcy!

Here’s to share my annual highlights in a year of face coverings (and lateral flow tests) ;p

5. #itmustbeUK (year 2). I have always planned to make a separate entry about life and work but I just can’t really seem to write it out; I must be so drained from it frequently! Lol. Kidding aside, living in Londres for the second year has been such a slice of life drama. Work came up with a dash of responsibilities which brought me to choices between prestige and pressure. For once I asked myself: Is it worthy to be promoted in a place filled with work politics and inferiority complex? Or would you just move to another area for career growth? I can’t imagine thinking like this after almost 3yrs again ;p

Whereas, personal life continues to make me stronger with my feelings. Homesickness truly lingers when you feel very single. Though thanks to my laid-back hobbies, travels and my dear friends there who have kept up with me. I pray that someday, I will get through this pace as I reach my last contractual year in 2022. I believe that someday, I might have to pull off that last Emily In Paris S2 scene : “I have made my decision” ðŸ˜†

4. Random BinJin Chibiarts. Indeed, I really took user @chibifiles seriously! Earlier on, I launched my chibiart commission page on Instagram with mostly BinJin fan arts on my portfolio. But besides having a small business of my passion, I’m forever grateful that my arts were appreciated all throughout this time. I have never expected to receive positive feedbacks on it which is one of the things that kept me going. So again, THANKYOU BINJIN FANDOM SOO MUCH! Pardon my sluggish and slow construction of my feed there and in my redbubble account but I will try my best to finish it soon! It's just that I'm often pre-occupied by drawing or strolling out during my days off from work. Hehe

Here are the fan projects I took part in which I know BinJin had definitely seen my chibiarts. 🥺 First, was the snow globe gift for HyunBin’s 39th birthday through my SigriswilPH fam. Then secondly, my Valentino twin chibis was part of the art frames during SontokkiesPH’ food support and it was seen on Yejin’s Instagram post!

It may not sound as a big deal for others but it was tears of joy for me as foodtruck updates went by and this Yejinhand post came in. 😭 Truly one of the best feelings ever for my fangirl soul!🖤

PS: In addition to BinJin, I think I’m gonna give HosPlay chibis a try next year!

3. My “Princess Diary” Update. Besides experiencing a legit 4 seasons this year, I was able to visit more towns in England such as York, Brighton and Essex! Basically, they have the same British vibe but differ in landmarks. Perhaps from time to time, I would still like to go to more English attractions (specifically the tourist-y ones) ‘cause I know I have some to catch up on! I mean, who hasn’t been to Stonehenge or Bath yet?! I don't. 🙈

2. Happy Yejin Day— My unexpected extension of my vacation in Manila also made me continue my fangirl duties and I love it here! Sorry, but this made me not want to go back in London anymore. Lol. We celebrated Son Yejin’s birthday for a week from witnessing her birthday ad at the MOA Globe and attending my first ever cupsleeve event! It’s MORE FUNgirling IN THE PHILIPPINES. 🖤
How I wish I was here during the BinJin SMART era however, good thing the promotional fanmeet events went virtual or else I would have really done an emergency landing! Haha. Well, fangirl knows no boundaries 🖤
I can't wait to watch my Actress Son's new drama "Thirty, Nine" and Actor Hyun Bin's new films next year! 22 is certainly gonna be BinJin era--in separate projects (but I'm lowkey praying for future sightings aside from their lovely Kitty 😅)

This Swiss trip came into my life like a gift.🖤

1. #ASwissEscape— Truth be told, I was bound to be in Germany but plans have changed due to travel restrictions so, I guess it was destiny? Haha! It was such a dream come true to visit Swiss on my birthday month, twice the specialty that I went on my own! Of course, I was also frightened at first like it felt new to travel solo again plus my worries of entering the border since the restrictions constantly changes during those unpredictable moments. Thankfully, I enjoyed and it went pretty safe alongside my DIY itinerary!

And that’s about it for now! For some reasons, has this year sped up or are we all plain busy?! Though I’m beyond relieved that I survived the stress that came along. Many thanks again for reading my blog whether for BinJin or my travel stuff. I highly appreciated everyone’s thoughts about it! Lets pray for better days ahead---and not get "twenty-twenty TOO"~

'til then!
