I would’ve written this earlier but I got so occupied with my recent flat move. ๐ฎ๐จ Though, despite real life’s busy-ness and chaos, my mind remains rent-free from reminiscing my experience of attending the BFI London Film Festival! It was a 10-day event that features a series of highly-anticipated films, movie shorts and screen talks. I managed to attend 2 Gala premieres for “No Other Choice” by Park Chan Wook and “Christy” by David Michรดd. Not only was I able to watch it firsthand, I was able to meet and greet the celebs during the red carpet—especially Sydney Sweeney which is my highlight of this event.♡ Up to this point, I still can't believe that I finally met her as one of my idols.๐ฅน
In this blog, I will be sharing how I managed to attend the event, my red carpet memories, a short review about the films I’ve watched and my personal stance on “America’s Great JEANS” ๐ All thoughts are of my own.

(02SEP25) I rarely tell personal life updates on my blog but this time, I’m happy to share that I recently become a British citizen. ⭐️ At present, it still feels surreal and I can’t believe that this happened! My 6-year OFW journey was filled with back stories that only my close friends and family know as I juggle my independent life in the UK. There were several moments that I was close to permanently return to the Philippines yet, there were instances that held me here. Hence, I’m still and am here.
This is a narrative of my timeline on how I pursued my British citizenship through the sponsorship route. I hope this inspires and helps those who are thinking to work here in GB and for those who will apply for citizenship soon. Take this kind reminder that it all takes a lot of patience and know that things happen if your chosen path is for you ✨
NB: All thoughts are of my own ⭐️
I hope y'all like my new blog layout! ๐
It’s been several months since my last travel and it already felt like 2 years of being stuck in the UK. My adulting era has paved to its fullest during my long haul stay as I juggle a Monday-Friday job, carry my own flat chores and facilitating my residency status (which was approved!) Last March, I took the ‘Life in The UK’ exam on the same day that I landed in the country—and it was truly promising.⭐️ Since then, I kept reminiscing how I made throughout this overseas life. Did I make my 25-yr old self proud?
Here's my bucket-list check for my quinquennial British life. This might sound boring and a little self-centered but all thoughts are of my own

Twenty-twenty ONE thing’s for sure: that this year has been a lot better than the previous despite how COVID continues to evolve its variants. But as least now we are on the verge of getting fully-vaxxed and boosted on the way to normalcy!
Here’s to share my annual highlights in a year of face coverings (and lateral flow tests) ;p

The pandemic continues to wreck a lot of long-time plans and I'm tired lamenting about it. I'm suppose to travel back home during my annual leave this month but unfortunately, the quarantine rules overseas remain hectic. I never want to spend my short trip on isolation. With the light and positivity to make my vacation productive, I went out of London again besides my BinJin fangirl duties. Haha!
I've journeyed to two cities with the most prestigious universities alongside a quaint village in the South. So which is better between Cambridge and Oxford? And is it really worth visiting the Cotswolds? Lets find out. ;)
*NB: Safety COVID precautions were strictly observed during these tours.
Tell me, is this gonna be, "wake me up when COVID19 ends"?!
2020 has been very peculiar that taught us new vocabularies such as enhanced quarantine, lockdown, frontliner, social distancing and the massive use of PPE (personal protective equipment). It felt like we are all living in a Big Brother house as we have to stay indoors in a certain point of time. As a healthcare professional, I got to say this virus is really contagious which keeps our work nerve-wrecking in the hospital lately. Aside from the lack of PPE, there's understaffing that leads to burnout so the probability of being infected is high. So lets cooperate with our national policies to #STAYATHOME. Personally, I still feel a pang of disappointment with my cancelled travel plans due to this outbreak. It made me stay here in London for the longest period already which lingers my homesickness ;( Hence, I figured to create a lockdown itinerary instead! Truly, there's more than just an "eat-sleep-repeat" routine at home ๐
Another year has passed and it turned out to be an emotional trainwreck despite my travelventures. From the loss of a family member to bidding farewells to loved ones, it’s been heavy yet I happily survived. ;”) Everything seemed like blessings in disguise with these whir of events.Hence, lets cheers to the ones that I got!
2016 has definitely been a year for CHANGE
.I've gone through periods of adjustment to survive the year.I couldn't say that it was one of the best but it was fun and thrilling.Although this time,I only have 5 top mems because of such shortcomings ;( Inspite of the drama, I guess it's a disguise that my dream to explore the world came true this year ;) So here goes my top 5 mementos.
Feb.05: Bicester Village

Today, we went to Bicester Village which is one of their well-known outlet shopping areas in the country. It took us around 2 hours to get there through a coach from Victoria Coach Station. Plus, it was colder there than in the city so make sure to wear your coats! The place literally looked like a village of outlet stores.
Jan.13,2016:my visa to London got APPROVED!!! :D
Feb.02: The journey to London begins!

first stop:Abu Dhabi,UAE
This is by far, the longest plane trip I've ever had---18hrs!And I never thought that being inside in a plane for that long was quite boring.Eat-sleep-watch-repeat.We rode through Etihad Airways which was really good but then I got tired eating their food as they serve halal diet (no pork but chicken and vegetables only).I can still remember what they served before---chicken curry bread, herb penne pasta, chicken biryani..well what a taste of the middle east!Being in Abu Dhabi for an hour and a half was interesting.Their souvenir shops sell stuffed camels, hookah, and golden lamps which are really cool!Too bad I didn't get to see the actual desert.Yet,I get to buy an exclusive Pandora charm there which only costs P700 if converted to Philippine peso. Now that's golden! :D So after 8hrs from UAE,we've finally reached the United Kingdom!!❤️
