The Eras Tour 2024

Thursday, September 19, 2024

(17AUG24) I have joined the concert tour of the century and it was 100% worth it! Never have I watched a concert that was approximately 4 hours long and sang all of her hit songs. Taylor Swift has really justified her era!

I’m not really a die hard fan (and people would absolutely hate me for saying that I can’t even be called a ‘Swiftie’ ) but I adore her music—like whose teenage girl did not grew up nor can relate to her songs?! The way Taylor Swift dedicated her songs to her ex-lovers has moved and empowered a million people. So hats off to that! It was amazing to witness her tour and so, here’s to share my experience from it!

This might sound like a narrative but all thoughts are of my own ;)

#2019Recap

Tuesday, December 31, 2019

Another year has passed and it turned out to be an emotional trainwreck despite my travelventures. From the loss of a family member to bidding farewells to loved ones, it’s been heavy yet I happily survived. ;”) Everything seemed like blessings in disguise with these whir of events.Hence, lets cheers to the ones that I got!

#2018Recap

Monday, December 31, 2018

Let me just say, that my year was filled with a lot of plot twists. I have revisited some Asian countries and had situations that I never thought would happen.Though I became idle for the second half, I didn't find it regretful as I was able to spend more time with my family and friends before leaping to the next step of my career. We all deserve to take a break once in a while; in fact, my lax months kept me busy besides gym and travelling. ;) So here are my top 10 moments that I’d loved to repeat all over again.

Crazy, Rich, Singapore

Sunday, October 21, 2018

Here's my last Asian stop to revisit and it's great to be back after 5 long years!! Singapore has been one of my favorite places mainly because of its mixed race atmosphere. Moreover, it is so safe with the many laws that they implement (i.e no chewing gum,no food & drinks inside a PUV and the newest thing I've seen,no durian in selected areas!haha).

you may want to check out my previous posts about this country ;) I'd loved to visit some of them again but with such a short stay, I wasn't able to do it already. Nevertheless, me and my family watched the Grand Prix, strolled inside Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay.

(040218) "Will you be my WITNESS?"

Monday, April 9, 2018

I have never thought that I will STILL have the chance to watch Katy Perry inspite my very busy schedule ('career burnouts' perhaps); In fact, I was quite decided that I might really miss her concert this time 'cause I honestly couldn't afford the tickets even if i can save money for it after being on sale 5 months ago(yep, buying concert tickets on the first day is not my thing. I usually buy when it's about to be sold out!Haha!). I even slashed my idea of trying to get an M&G pass 'cause I'm losing my chances of purchasing a ticket.I joined several online contests as well but it brought me no luck. ;( Yet, coincidentally my day off from work landed on a Monday (April 2nd) since I was assigned to work during the Lenten holidays. So that whole time got me thinking: "should I go to her concert?"
Pardon me for a long foreword before I tell about the entire concert. This just means so much to me that in my language, it was 'biglaan at its finest'.Haha! Anyway, I already have my own duties on that day and none of it was to go to the concert. But apparently that time, I was scrolling for updates on the KatyCats' group until I saw people selling their tickets for a very cheap price!

I even posted my thoughts on Twitter that moment as I felt sick of having second thoughts of going to the event. However, I couldn't bring myself to pack my gym stuff anymore so my decision: I CANNOT MISS THIS CONCERT. To my mind, it'll be another 3yrs before she comes back here again so I'd go for it and tried to bargain the ticket.(nope,i didn't take that 7K offer.I bought it from someone else and I settled for a lowerbox A seat).I took the risk of commuting from my hometown to Mall of Asia for the first time alone and when I got there to meet the seller, I was shookt when he suddenly said "Miss,VIP nalang tong kunin mo ha" and from there I was somewhat out of my mind,I had another second thought that this might be a scam or something--but it's NOT!as in,oh my gosh...I'm gonna see Katy up front!!

I was so close from crying as it happened too fast; rather, medyo nawala lang ako sa sarili.Haha I'm not prepared!! But definitely,I have to enjoy this opportunity and thus, here we go with the concert proper! ;D

It's BRITNEY,b*tch! (061517)

This was posted on my IG story yesterday afternoon :)

The long wait is over as the pop princess hits the stage at SM Mall of Asia Arena!Well, who wouldn't resist going to a (could be) once in a lifetime show?'Cause this artist has been my childhood favorite before the dawn of my current idols ;) So I didn't mind spending a lot for a lowerbox seat---and of course,it was all worth it! a 9/10 rating for me ❤️

#2015 Memories

Thursday, December 31, 2015

Basically,2015 has been a lot of ups and downs for me.It was full of trial-and-error periods that at the end,all those hardships were worth achieving.Let it be the events I've attended, the things I started to like and the people who became so important to me.So here goes my traditional rundown of the year ;)

The "V" tour with Maroon 5

Saturday, October 31, 2015

This just arrived so unexpected---that I get to watch Maroon 5 in concert (which i bought the tickets on the last day of August!Haha!) Even if we got our seats slightly elevated,i had fun.It was certainly worth the watch. Thanks to that lucky online seller.Haha :)

The concert was held at SM Mall of Asia Arena last Sept.17,2015. I think it was their third time around to be here and it was awesome. It was also my first time to watch them and pretty much,my first to be in a legit sold-out concert! :0 So I was like,"wow!I never thought a full-house concert would be like this!".Fans got so wild during the whole concert as the band sang most of their hits from their album,"Songs About Jane" until "V". I wasn't able to take a lot of pics but I get to record several clips of their performances..

Here's "Animals" as their opening act.

While here's "Sugar" as their final act. Check out my Youtube page for more Maroon 5 clips!

So basically, this is my view on how far my seat was from the stage.Haha! But it was still worth it since the arena was very elevated. No need for binoculars,I should say.

I hope they'll be back again soon!!

Prismatic World Tour Manila!!

Thursday, May 28, 2015

ahh yesss!touchdown Philippine Arena! And it was just a 45-minute shuttle ride from Trinoma. The area was certainly huge as it was filled with several booths of Katy Perry merchandise (which I will discuss later) and food stalls.

Katy Perry-ing for a Week.

Monday, February 9, 2015

My fangirl-ing over Katy Perry is backkk!!---well,it's not that I stopped idolizing her but my fangirl moments seem to lessen during my college years. I rarely follow my idols' events since then and I only buy their new albums just to keep updated on them. Though now that I can handle my own time, I'm glad to be back as an active KatyCat, a Clarksonator (for Kelly Clarkson) and a Carebear (for Carrie Underwood). But let me dedicate this post to Katy Perry first since I've been so amazed on her eversince I've watched her Superbowl Halftime performance.

*credit: GossipCop.com ** I repeated this video for like 3 times 'cause it was really awesome!I love every part of it especially the "Dark Horse" (damnnn those LED floor effects ❤️) and of course, "California Girls". Who wouldn't forget the left shark dancer?Haha!
And moments after that, the tickets prices for her concert got released! She'll be the first artist to have a concert at The Philippine Arena on May 07,2015.

Tickets go on sale by Feb.13.I hope she brings that huge tiger for "Roar" ;))

Then recently, she had her new Covergirl commercial..easy,breezy,beautiful❤️

I spazzed when I saw this as a commercial while watching the Grammy's via Facetime from New York. I hope it shows in Philippine tv too, lol. Anyhow, check out the CoverGirl playlist in youtube for more of her makeup vids.
So as I was saying, I watched the Grammy's this morning (Manila time) and aside from Sam Smith as this year's big winner, I could never forget Katy's performance of "By The Grace of God". They say it's for domestic violence and it surely fits the song.

So that's how my fangirl feels went for now.Hahaha.I bet it doesn't stop there.Perhaps I'll feature my other 2 idols next time :)
'til then!

"we just wanna make the world daaance!" Jessie J LIVE in Manila

Wednesday, July 23, 2014

I went to Jessie J's concert at the SMART Araneta Colliseum last July 14 and it was a blast! I did not expect that she would throw up a disco-kind of concert!! :) Her first set would definitely make you stand up even if you're not at the patron to dance near the stage.Haha. I only know the songs that she released but after the concert, I had a lot of new favorites from her. I currently like "Sexy Lady" and "Calling All Hearts" which are part of the first set. Plus,I also started to like "Who You Are" because of the meaningful lyrics of it(I did not even know that it's her song!Haha!).I adore the chorus so much ❤️ it goes: "Don't lose who you are in a blur of the stars.seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,it's okay not to be okay.Sometimes it's hard to follow your heart. But tears won't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising, just be true to who you are" ;") I wished I could have taken a video of that performance. However, I have a few clips from the concert (pardon me for the poor and shaky quality). Some of the videos also were taken through my phone so it was really blurry;but I just really have to upload it.
