Despite reliving old updates, re-watching BinJin projects and having a merchandise spree(which I'll be posting soon!), BinJin nation has been experiencing drought for the past few weeks. Yet recently, almost the entire world got whipped as SMART telecom dropped the bomb of having Son Yejin as its newest endorser 🖤 Well, I know it's just a commercial film (CF) but the mere fact that she and Hyun Bin are on the same page once more is definitely brewing something!
This is my appreciation post to SMART for choosing BinJin as their product models that somehow became a bridge to make them work together for another time.🥰 And of course, this entry will include a continuation of my own BinJin speculations from ze previous post (by demand!Many thanks again to everyone who have read it 🖤). So, are we getting close to hear the real deal? ;)
SMART Telecommunications is one of the leading network providers in the Philippines. I was once a subscriber before for work purposes and internet consumption (the SMART Bro era ;p). Its perks were good and they are always known to bring such huge stars to endorse their product. Thus, with "Crash Landing On You"s phenomenal success, they offered to bring Captain Ri into the club.
Yep, that's where it all began for Hyun Bin in which this even got leaked 2 days before the official release! Though, the hype continues as he also had an interview with Metro.Style and the exclusive SMART freebies came straightaway.

With his black attire, a luxury sports car and the green lights flashing across the district sure makes Binshiii look handsome as ever 🖤 Plus, the way he spoke in Tagalog from "Simplè, SMART Ako" to "Mahal ko Kayo, Smartees" is just..WOW.😍 The captain has landed---and a few days after that, SMART has announced of bringing another person so he won't be lonely. From thereon we all know what this means, isn't it?!💓
So last July, there were endless teasers of this next face which they called #ProjectSunflower. Soon enough it was revealed that obviously, it is Son Yejin and everyone from the fandom went ecstatic. Call it exaggerating but every new yejinhand content is golden since she seldom updates on SNS that there's not even a latest interview on her apart from her commercial projects.😝 Anyhow, the clips and posts that came up got us more excited day by day until..
03AUG20---"How do I know it's meant to be?"
Truth be told, this has been one of the happiest days in BinJin fandom history 🖤 I came from a nightshift duty when the CF released and I didn't mind for not sleeping on that matter. I was in total awe as I watched it and I couldn't be any prouder for Yejinshii in this. Ang galing...napaka-galing!!💓 Yejin's endorsement is about the 5G experience of having the SMART Signature postpaid plan.
Her chic, hot attire in a motorcycle along with her own English voiceovers sums up how great she is. And just like Binshiii's, she nailed the Tagalog tagline with a cute accent! The girl is multilingual and she truly deserves to be in Hollywood next! ;) In addition to that, this CF got more interesting at the end where she smiled over that familiar black vehicle. Again, we all know what that means.💓
Like I said, it might only be an advertisement but they are on the same company again (the first one is from Manyo x Mediheal) and this seems like a rare opportunity in K-Ent. industry.Though, one article was posted why Yejin accepted the offer--and see what I just stressed there.Hahah
I got to admire on how safe they've written this.😅 No wonder, the media plays too much with their labels like "on-screen partner","closed friends" which left nowhere for the fans to believe. And as much as I don't want to read between the lines, the last bit felt like a different level of friendship that they both entrusted to the brand. Naksss!! Does a friendship code still exist at the age of 38?! 😝
Nevertheless, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to SMART for making it possible to reunite this showbiz couple. It's amazing that they have crash landed to Manila being one of the best fandom capitals in Asia. Thank you to SMART SVP's Jane Basas for showering us with BinJin content while creating their project 🖤 Indeed, there's a lot to look forward on this phase such as Yejin's Signature Plan freebies and her exclusive interview(I hope there is!). Pretty much, the whole fandom is wishing for that joint CF to happen 'cause yeah, how do we know it's meant to be?
😜 And since BinJin are the endorsers, I guess us, fans will trust the brand for more events throughout their 1 year contract!
