Hola Espana: MURCIA

Wednesday, June 3, 2026

(05APR26) On Easter Day, I travelled to Spain to visit my friend in Murcia. As “Semana Santa” plays a big role in the country, I was thrilled to experience the street festivals on that week so it was the perfect time to get there. ♡An underrated city, Murcia is one place in EspaΓ±a that one might’ve rarely talk about yet this town is bound for simplicity and vibrance. You can even get to see the whole of it in just a day! From the delicious tapas, a bounty of parks with beer gardens and the pretty outskirts, I definitely enjoyed exploring it and I highly recommend! ⭐️

Here's some trip ideas and itinerary if you’re down to explore one of Spain’s southern gems!

Japan Tales: OSAKA 2026

Tuesday, March 17, 2026

Apologies that I'm waaay behind with my blog stuff again as adulting continues to eat me alive. From December, I spent the holidays in the Philippines, had a short family trip in Japan, returned to work for a month then went to America! πŸ™ˆ Hence, my start of the year has been quite eventful.

Though, lets talk about my recent trip to Japan where in this season, I got to return to Osaka—after 7 years! The Kansai prefecture has a big space in my heart as this was my first solo trip destination in 2017 and I’ve learnt a lot from it.♡ Nevertheless, Osaka has a different vibe from Tokyo as this is known as Japan’s gastronomical hub.

You can read my previous Kansai adventures but here’s some additional new ideas that you might want to try if Osaka is in your travel list πŸ˜‰

The Housemaid---and Reasons why YOU have to watch it

Tuesday, February 10, 2026

It was on October 2024 when “The Housemaid” was announced to have a movie adaptation and as I read the book on that same month along with casting news that Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried will be the leads, I knew I had a good feeling about this! This trilogy by Freida McFadden is about an ex-prisoner whom applied as a housemaid to a wealthy family in order to start a new life. As she continued to serve and live in the attic, the family’s secrets began to unwrap leading to a thrilling twist of the story. The film premiered on December in USA and UK while January for the Philippines where I first watched it and up to present time, it has been a global box office hit! I even watched it again when I returned in London since it deserves to be watched twice…or can be more than that! 'cause why not?! 😎

Here are my 5 good reasons why you have to watch this film whether you love thriller, the book, the cast or anything in between πŸ˜‰
