A Week of SON YEJIN

This was not supposed to be my first post. This was meant to merge with my BinJin 2 Cents (PART 2) but the draft's quite long already and APAN is coming this week-- I mean, no. Screw that award show for letting us think that BinJin's attending the ceremony. I have ranted enough about it on Twitter so I better not pull it out again here. Anyhow, Yejin's birthday week deserves a full blog entry with all the sudden events that happened last week. 🥰 My Sontokkie (name for SYJ's fans) heart is squealing for joy! From her main birthday to a cupsleeve event, I guess it's a blessing in disguise that I had my vacation extended in this capital of fangirling. ;)

Here's a recap of my #11DaysofYejin as part of Yejin's birthday socmed activities in Twitter and the fan events that followed.

D-1: (17MAR20) I gave in to watching CLOY during my downfall moments. It was the 1st kdrama that i really got hooked on and Yejin’s acting got me swooned over the first few episodes plus her chemistry with Binsshii. From thereon, I did a movie marathon of her films and currently, I'm watching her drama series inch by inch. Y'all can view more of my blog entries related to Son Yejin here.🖤

Firstly, we’re Asian and petite! We somehow have a matchy-matchy coat in this one:

and lastly, our names!Hahaha. both our first and last names equate to 8 letters ;P

D-5: The Most Memorable Line. I love love love Yoon Seri in that purple paragliding suit! 🖤

D-6: Best Visual Era.
2018 & 2020--Her fashion style is so sophisticated together with the boom of her projects at that time. Here are just a few of her attires that I'm talking about since there are tons of it to mention!
  Like I said before, I always wanted her wardrobe in SITR. ☺️ While these ones are some of her shots from the BAU photoshoot. It was a graphic edit that I made as part of a gift for Twitter's #CLOYExchange


D-7:Dream Role/Genre. (NOTE: these are based on my own preference)
I’d like to see Yejin in a love triangle drama with massive catfights and if FSOG would have a Korean remake, I would loved to see her play as Anastasia Steele (and of course, Hyun Bin should be Mr. Grey). Nevertheless, this queen had made it to every genre/role besides those that I stated--Or perhaps, a director should consider making a live action film/series of some of the fandom's awesome fanfics ;D

D-8: To me, Yejin is a star that sums her up as a fashion icon and a rolemodel. She is simple and pretty plus the way she handles her career is something to be admired of. I used to say with every interview of her before that she is very clever in answering the media. As in, napakahusay. I love her so much. 🖤

D-9: I am forever hoping that she will have another project with Hyun Bin or maybe Park Hae-Il(my 2nd fav lead for her since they look so good together in "The Last Princess" ^^) but apart from that, I’d like to see her act with Kim Hee Ae for a heavy love triangle drama--"The World of The Married" vibes!!omggg. 
  D-10:My Reasons to Stan SYJ.

Well what's NOT to stan about her?! My graphic edit says it concisely. ;) I fell in love with her acting prowess and attitude. And similarly to my childhood idols like Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry, Son Yejin is a true inspiration. If I had known her during my teenage years, she would surely make it to my idol list too. Hence, I'm proud to say that she is my first favorite Korean actress.🖤

D-11: My Birthday Message: I’ve already said everything on my IG but moreover, I would like to thank her for being an inspiration, a SONshine during the peak of pandemic and a rolemodel. Moreso, I will forever support her like my other idols. Much love. Happy Birthday 🖤

Here was my birthday chibiart manifesting how she might have celebrated it with Hyun Bin and the rumored dog, Mina (I honestly don't know and don't think that she really had a dog now. lol) .


Then recently, I made another chibiart as requested by Mafs wherein Yejin's doing the unboxing with Binnie. 😍 I really made this happen as the idea was utterly adorable. Yet who knows, it might've happened in reality, right? Let alone that she re-uploaded her insta-post of gifts just to mute the videos (but why though if it's just her staff helping her on the background or something? Hmm. Anyway, this is just me and my babbling thoughts 😜). She deseserves these bounty of presents so much. I love it that even some of Hyun Bin's FanClub gave her a gift 🥺🖤 Whereas me and my SigriswilPH family gave her these:

On her exact birthday, I went to Mall of Asia to witness her birthday advertisement at the MOA Globe by SMART and Simply Yejin PH. It was a fun night with my fellow BinJin moots. One of us got her IG post liked by Yejinhand as well. Very very lucky @yejinland_! ^.^

13JAN21: Yejin's CupSleeve PH event 🖤Then of course, the fandom capital also had its own cupsleeve event just like from the other countries. And it's my first time to attend one so I'm really excited about this! The event was held at Grace in A Cup, Quezon City hosted by @sonhyun6 & @yejinhandstan   

Each table is heavenly filled with Yejinhand/BinJin photos. We even got the chance to bring home a bunch of those.  Yet overall, the design of the place was amazing. It's a world of BinJin for a day🖤

The venue was small but a comfy, pretty space for hangouts! They sell affordable boba milkteas and finger foods.

In conclusion, I got several of my fav shots (one of my chibiarts also made it there🖤) plus 2 sticker packs! My fangirl is truly screaming with awe ;"D Rarely do I decorate my walls in my room but I guess I might be doing it this time. Hahaha!
Moreover, I had a great time for finally meeting more of my fellow Filipino BinJin moots on Twt besides those that I've been with last Monday. From fanfic authors, graphic artists and fan event organizers, they are a pack of talented people. Fangirling with them in reality was the best!

And finally on that Friday, I got one more time to spend LIVE fangirling again with 3 of my SigriswilPH sisters at BGC where we watched this crumb segment of BinJin. 
If this was with sound, y'all would hear our squeals and own translations of the show. Lol. We know our BinJin history way better than that ;)
And so, that's the story of one of my vacay highlights in Manila. Indeed, it was one of the best weeks and despite COVID, I was able to meet these awesome people whom I will cherish like our bias. I cannot wait to be with them again soon! Though the fangirling continues in virtual for sure. 🖤
